Winner of the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration in 2016, this artist has created over 80 books for children and is well known for her ‘wimmelbooks’ (large format wordless picturebooks teeming with people and activities to spot).

This small board version focuses on a winter journey of a packed bus of people heading towards a snowy town, complete with Christmas trees, a department store and a frozen pond with ice skaters.

The back cover shows different characters to find in the book, making the book more like a spotting game.
